⇊ Step by Step Guide to Making Your Hoop ⇊
Cut correct tubing to Diameter Size (OD; Outer Diameter)
Find acceptable connector piece
Connectors are 3.5 - 4” long
Check Hoop OD Size
Sand connection (sexy), if needed
Once Sexy Connected, check OD Size AGAIN
Check for Wonk
Install proper Connector Component(s)
[P] Push Button Connection: Connector sits ⅓ into one side of hoop and ⅔ into opposing. *Shown Below
Rivet is placed on ⅓ shorter side, Push Button placed ⅔ longer side.
For ¾”, Largest Drill Bit used for Push Button.
Drill Pilot Holes using ⅛” (smallest) Drill Bit.
Insert Rivet on ⅓ Connector side. Do not move around connector.
Using Large Drill Bit, drill Push Button hole. Disconnect & BLOW.
Insert Large Push Button. Curved end goes in first. Connect Hoop.
Other Connections:
[1R] 1 Rivet: Connector sits ⅓ into one side and ⅔ into other. Rivet is placed on ⅓ shorter side, and nothing on opposing. If opposing Friction Fit ⅔ side is loose, sand for greater Friction.
[2R] 2 Rivets: Evenly placed connector. 1 Rivet on each side.
After placing First Rivet, then drill second hole.
Disconnect and BLOW into a hoop end to release bits.
[F] Friction Fit: Evenly placed into hoop side. Sand connector if loose.
Diameter Help
Divide your total height, in inches, in half then add 2-3"
I.E. 5' = 60"/2= 30" +3 = 33" diameter
